I've just installed Nova Launcher on my KEY2..very nice, much more to my taste than BB's basic and little customisable launcher. But using it seems to disable the keyboard shortcuts. Am I correct?

directly yes, but with speed key it should still work.

I'm using the Yandex launcher, same thing, I have to use the speed key to use the shortcuts but it's not really an issue

It's a tad less convenient but I can live with it too.
