I had a similar problem, where NFC would stop by itself. Maybe it was a power setting but when I enabled it, it worked.

Maybe just try and restart the phone if you haven't already tried, you never know.

Did you do a 32+ second reboot? Sometimes works like a charm.

Glad to hear a reset worked for you. I just reset my device as well to address this same problem.

Interestingly, after I ran the reset, the fingerprint sensor started to act up. Started not recognizing fingerprints and one of the spacebar lights stopped working (K1 for me).

I ran another reset and the fingerprint sensor seems to be fully functional again.

Still need to test GPay.

I made the factory settings and I also removed the connected device via the internet bank. I re-entered key2 as if you have a new phone. nfc works again. I also discovered the ability to set nfc in the default application-there is an option for nfc.

Exactly the same issue here. After ~6 months of well working NFC payments, suddenly, without any change in the settings or factory reset or anything, NFC is not working anymore.

What's interesting, when trying to pay via NFC, the NFC icon changes to the more extended like it's fetching or sending some data but it stucks (nothing happens) and payment does not even start, no errors, no payment is made.

Tried so far NFC on / off and phone restarts. Don't want to do factory reset. Do you guys know any other workaround to make it worked without factory reset?

called the bank to manually revoke provisioning. called google pay to validate provisioning had been removed. did a factory reset and set up as new. worked for me.

I've just got NFC payment working WITHOUT factory reset just by installing the Google Pay app from Play Store (it was not installed on my phone as all settings were done via bank app & google settings).

Since Google Pay app installation I can now use GPay for NFC payments without any issues, WITHOUT factory reset.

My NFC has NEVER worked on ANY KEYone (BBB 100-1 or 100-3)...even straight out the box!!

Does anyone have any ideas for me??

I'm trying now to see if there are any apps that will troubleshoot NFC issues. Here's hoping! (fingers crossed!!)
