SmartLock no longer works, and the user interface to fix it has gone away: after typing the password to confirm access, the Smart Lock screen is blank. Very annoying!

Why does it matter? You want to install any and all updates anyway.

As per my chart, it may take you directly to ABE181, or do so via ABC432 first.

I haven't read through this whole thread but I've noticed a dramatic improvement in Bluetooth reception with my Plantronics 5200. Now it doesn't crackle just by going to another room.

Now can people just stop complaining that carriers are so slow when it comes to updates? 'Cause my unlocked, purchased-directly-from-bb EU QWERTY KEY2 still hasn't gotten this update while carriers like Rogers have already pushed it.

To be fair... AT&T didn't release the update as I have an unlocked BlackBerry Mobile KEY2 purchased from Best Buy on AT&T's network. I received the update OTA and AT&T had nothing to do with my receiving it.

Didn't pick this phone or any phone for an excellent camera, my Cannon does that. I did however pay $928 CND for at least a mediocre camera that is acceptable for everyday pleasure and work shots, a tool actually. The 4 updates have improved the camera a bit, the facts of low light rubbish shots and video still exist, all we need is an exceptable, perceptible performance at the low end as a bare minimum at this price point. I do believe this is a reasonable request. Cheers,

Yes, I have been complaining about this since the begining. The camera is unacceptable & no we don't need a DSLR. What we need is a camera in 2018 in a phone to be able to take pictures in all kinds of lighting conditions. It's 2018 for god sakes.

I agree. But the video recordings really could be better, they're pretty horrible even in broad daylight. 1080p is grainy on anything larger than a phone screen, 4K is very sharp, but color balance is way off. So off, that things look very different (i.e. dark green looks like light green, for example). I'm all for a DSLR, which I also have, but daylight video recordings aren't even acceptable at this point, unlike daylight photos.

Has anyone noticed better sound quality on the bottom firing loud speaker? It sounds to me like it has more bass and clarity. Any thoughts?

I have no idea other than updates from my years of experience with BlackBerry Devices are released in batches... Internationally and in North America, US and Canada.

I am located in Denver, CO and as I mentioned I manually checked for an update last week Tuesday and it was there. I didn't receive an Update Notification as I typically have in the past. If I hadn't manually checked I wouldn't have known there was an update. I assume I would have gotten an Update Notification... Dunno.
