    Hi all,

I just wanted to know if there is a way you can control the amount of time the notifications while the phone is locked can be shown a little longer before the screen fades. Now the screen fades after 2-3 seconds - I would like that to be at least 5 seconds.

I understand that they don't want to leave it on too long because of privacy reasons. But it's pretty useless to have "actions" under the notifications when you don't have a bit of time to click on them...

    Thanks for the input...

Do you have any options under settings>display?

just the setting that allows notifications on lock screen (a toggle switch). nothing with a timer option.

I assume you're talking about the "Ambient display" that turns on and goes back to sleep. I find it pretty bad too as you don't have enough time to read anything.

Yes. A setting short / medium / long would be enough which would result in 2, 5 or 10 seconds. Something like that.
