Has anyone tried using a different launcher on KEY2, but with keyboard shortcuts ?

Sorry if this is being discussed in any other thread.

Using Flick Launcher - amazing launcher with tons of customization that feels and looks a lot like stock android.

Keyboard shortcuts work great with it.

    Nova transforms the phone.

Much faster , smoother, swipe gestures, the list goes on.

Keyboard shortcuts work with the speed key.

So just to be sure. When you use Nova or any other launcher other than BlackBerrys. Speed key works, but long press/short press shortcuts don't work?

Basically correct. I would also like to clarify that the speed key shortcut also works on the homescreen.

I think that small extra step of having to press the speed key to access a shortcut is worth it when you consider all the benefits nova brings. It transforms the device.

I'd say give It a try to see what u think.

Does productivity tab work with Nova? I use that all the time, to check meetings.

But with other launchers there is no way to get to homescreen by using the fingerprint sensor after double tap to sleep. And thats a point I would miss a lot!
