With prior BB, the Calendar app was self-contained. You did not need to sync it with an outside calendar to make it useful. It would internally handle things like sending invites, replying to invites, and etc. The old calendar correctly allowed you to delete or edit a meeting in a series without changing or deleting the entire series. In other words, it functioned like a calendar on a real businessperson's device should operate.

The KeyOne calendar does none of those things. After HOURS on the phone with BB support, they even admitted their app was unable to do thesse basic things.

My question is does the KeyTwo calendar app fix these problems?

    Thanks for the info

Dunno. I went with Business Calendar 2 and disabled Calendar. No syncing. I imported my own custom .ics calendars (US and Chinese holidays) and export calendars when required. Can sync with Calendars if need be.

What I like about the app is that you can disable tracking.

I am in the beta testing program for the calendar. Will definitely put that in the remarks section. Had forgotten just how good that BlackBerry Calendar really was.

And a quick swipe to the left gives you a twelve month view to tap on any month (in bb10). I use the calendar on my phone a lot. From what I can see by playing around with my wife's Motion, I'm going to be looking for calendar options when my Passport dies. Why can't I have a calendar that is not online but only on my phone?
