At least in the US they are almost dead.
    No devices/ no stock.
Bad stories came from people everywhere.
Bad stories came from people everywhere? Are you referring to the spacebar issue that many people experienced? I saw a few of those.

I guess, I do love the brand have had it from the Alphanumeric days, used it with my company. But never worried about it. I guess it comes from knowing whats important in life whats fun and alike..

Also I have been a "fan" from the beginning. The only difference is my company that I owned would as you would say put our money we're our mouth was/is. Now that I am retired I see things in a different light.

If you like glass I suggest buying a Pixel 3a and throwing the HUB suite on it. For a slab the price to value can't be beat. I used my dad's for a couple weeks. For a slab, like most these days, it works well and will get 3 updates and security patches. Secure, updated OS and excellent camera.
1000% Agree. Just grabbed one for $322 shipped to my door.

Yep. In the world of slabs the Pixel 3a and 3a XL are game changers. Nothing better for the value if you like and prefer Android.

A Key 3 LE with a 700 series SOC and Pixel comparable camera and photo software @ 400 should be BlackBerry Mobiles next target.

Apparently, no such device could possibly exist with a BlackBerry name on it for under $1,000,000.

I think the Samsung A50 sets the bar in that realm. $279 - my goodness.

The Key2 was overpriced at launch. It was a $499 phone at best. The LE was relatively decently priced. And now neither are available.

What info do you have regarding BBMo's total costs to bring the KEY² to market?

Given that virtually all of them have sold through, it seems like they priced them just right.

A lot of people got way too used to the RIM/BB practice of overproducing and then quickly discounting phones and so they aren't used to paying full price. TCL wants full price on every last unit, as they are in it for profits, not to prop up a brand.

This is exactly the point. The phone has been out about 12 months and people complained about the price waiting for it to come down. Wasn’t necessary and I’ll bet that many of the complaints are people not willing to pay full price. Good for BBMo either way.

Yet you know that it was overpriced despite not knowing what the costs were.

Sometimes you have to simply pay extra to play in the niche hardware game.

Yes, this is true BUT they still have to make good phone for the price they charge. It takes R&D funding and manufacturing quality assurance to make a good phone.

Indeed! Would be nice if they keypad (the staple feature of the device) would work as advertised and spacebars wouldn't wake the neighbors....

If you still have this phone as your daily driver (only phone) three years after purchase then that would be pretty great.
