Hi all, first time posting. I've been randomly checking Best Buy's website and it appears the red Key2 is now in stock for shipping. I just purchased one and it will be available for pick up early next week.

I wanted to share the news in case anyone else is looking for one

I saw this last night - checked randomly as I do from time to time and the Key2 Red Edition is $524.99 with 128mb and LTE 2,4,5,12,66 so I can use it on T-Mobile but I went to buy it and they sold out. I don't want the Key2 LE because it doesn't have the capacitive touch keyboard. I have a feeling they'll be another sale soon though. Maybe the Key3 is coming who knows

That's a good thing for the inventory and TCL. I kind of feel like if a lot of us fans would stop complaining about BB10 and just jumped on the band wagon we would be in a totally different position with sales and updates. But that's just me rambling !!

Makes me wonder how many they even had though and if they'll have more at some point, seems they likely will. If they had a batch and moved them quickly, that means people were waiting on them which would give Best Buy incentive to order more, knowing they're like to sell.

I'm going to see if I get my hands on one next time, that's if and when they become available the reason I got the black one was cause the red one wasn't and option. However I was fortunate enough to get one with a functioning keyboard e ven though it's build date was 8/2018

It's not the job of "fans" to support BlackBerry Mobile. It's BlackBerry Mobile's job to make and market compelling products that businesses and consumers want.

I bought a KEYone but ended up continuing to use an ancient BB10 phone because it meets my needs more effectively. If I were to buy another Android phone (something I'm desperately trying to avoid!) it won't be before 2021 and it won't be a PKB.

Red Key2 appears to be back in stock right now. LE is showing as sold out. I've been checking a few times today and they seem to be getting stock and selling out very quickly.

They will all be using Android eventually, just not on a BlackBerry Android device as there will be none to purchase.

I just got my Key2 Red today.
Build date is April, 3rd 2019

I called BlackBerry Mobile support and asked about the warranty status, and he told me it is under warranty until February, 10th 2020.
I asked the representative about this contrast since the device build date is April 2019 and the warranty will expire in less than one year. He put me on a brief hold to ask his manager and then told me: "keep your receipt if you got the phone from BestBuy. Generally, February 2020 is the last month we honour BlackBerry warranty on any Key2 device in the USA".
He also added this is still the same old batch that BestBuy got in April.

That's what the representative told me first time, but he asked to keep the receipt as a proof of purchase.

Well, if you like the device that much and are willing to take a chance I hope it all works out for you.
