I already posted a thread about Key 2 Red Edition discontinuation from Amazon inventory two weeks ago. I was waiting to get it from BestBuy, but it was sold out along the last five days. Now, I contacted BestBuy and they told me that they don't carry Key 2 any longer, and the newly released Red Edition is also no longer available, which what BestBuy website also confirmed.

Now its basically impossible to find one even if you have the money in hand!

The problem is the launch time was only few days ago. Reviewers have barely started writing about it.
Unfortunately, it seems there are no more batches, because Bestbuy already confirmed it is no longer available.

Either it was an extremely limited edition or something unusual had happened.

They did say it was a red edition, not an unlimited edition.

PDA plaza is still selling it. Haven't checked the BlackBerry euro site yet. Perhaps Verizon had something to do with this. Carrier exclusive for them in red? Kind of makes sense no?

Yes, I was very unlucky.
I placed my order on Amazon, and they kept pushing the delivery date until they told me it is no longer available. When I decided to get it from Bestbuy, it was sold out along the last week, and now it's over.

I hope the release of a new device is imminent because Key2 in the USA isn't available from all official channels. It is hard to believe that BBMobile could sustain its viability with only Key2 LE along this year without releasing a new device.
