how much?
£699.00 it appears
So about $900 USD.
As Flossy Carter would say:
"BlackBerry, I respect y'all, but y'all need to calm down"
yeah that is more than a shiny new iphone and galaxy right there
At least the Red would keep its resale value pretty well... maybe even better than a Galaxy
Anyone know if wifi calling will work on US Tmobile in the EU version ?
Hope for what?
What do you think?
I’m certain @John Albert doesn’t know or he wouldn’t have asked
I’m not really sure either
Think hard
Somebody in an EU warehouse found more unsold OG Key2 and the red paint is dry now. The hope is the supply of red paint and drying techniques are down pat so inventory will show in stock until truly sold out?
Never owned an EU Red KEY2 so can't tell.
The NA Key2 wifi-calling worked with the original release modem, as I recall. Then, stopped with updates. Users have gone back to the original modem with success. Assume the EU version will not work out of the box. Can the EU version be boogied into working by installing the original NA modem? Above my pay grade.
Thanks for the reply
@pooyam
Thanks for the replies. Will be staying with my BE Key1 then.
As a red Passport owner, I would disagree with this.
It's not even a question that your Red Passport would sell for more than a black/white one in the same condition.
People have bought Red KEY2's, used them for a bit and then sold them for more than they paid for them.
It might seem weird but I do keep track of Red KEY2's on eBay and they usually always sell for over $700 but usually way more
qwertz pls
At some point, the deciding factor of the overall value isn’t the specific attribute but totality of the overall product or item.
I see no reason why the EU version of the Key 2 would not have Wifi calling here in the US on T-Mobile. Anyone with an unlimited post paid account has T-Mobile Digits that works on all Android versions down to Lollipop OS. I have digits on all my Android devices down to our DTEK50. Messenging and calls all work flawlessly on Digits over Wifi.
When so much of this was bashed out last year or so, I didn’t remember Digits as necessary. Do the KEYone and the Key2 both require Digits or does WFC operate as factory unlocked set ?
I don't know. Digits is a phenomenal app from T-Mobile that works on ANY Android phone or device down to Lollipop OS and negates any other issues that would prevent Wi-Fi calling from a device. Digits and functionality is free on any postpaid unlimited plan.
Why did you decide to sell yours?
