Just seen that too and if those prices are the true prices, I think this is a huge gamble. They're priced at almost the same rates as topmost flagships with the SD845 processors. The Oneplus 6 costs about $100 less. I understand it's a niche device but I think it shouldn't sell for more than $550

While they do add some cost, the Blackberry ltd tax is what really prevents BBMo from bringing more affordable pricing.

Overpriced IMO*. I don't know what kind of market research they did - but I think at that price-point it'd be a 'hard sell', as in hard-to-sell.

don't compare apple to blackberry now. iphone are costly especially its last one iphone x, but blackberry is not of competition for long time and they trying to bounce back.
they should have done a research on market value before pricing their device aggressive.

Most certainly not. Expect 899 for the 128. This was what the Priv launched for, and the market didn't want it.

$599 would have been the most reasonable price IMO.
Don't know how much premium does BBMobile think people are willing to pay just for the PKB.
$649 is the same price as the Pixel 2. Whose camera is still superior to the dual cameras on the S9.
