Certain websites ask for location info or permission to send additional info. Screen asking permission pops up and freezes - can't accept or deny. Asked BlackBerry for help and they gave some garbage, non-sensical answer. Help? This is becoming very annoying.

Yes, I have seen this too, especially if a website wants to be able to know your location or send notifications - you get a dialog box appear but you can't clear it, regardless of the option you try and select.

Try just pressing the back button, as in the "<" button from the active bar above the physical keyboard.
It works as an escape button, and I successfully use this.

You likely have some app with draw over screen permissions. It's a security feature to disable access to those dialogues. For example, I use Edge Gestures and have to disable it if I want to respond to prompts like that.

Just select block and hit the return button at the bottom of the screen. It will allow you to continue browsing.
