My dad's Pocophone is running LineageOS and it's really snappy :-)
I'm sure it's snappy, but what else does it have going for it?

The best camera at that price point.

The border detection for the bokeh is pretty horrendous. The one without is pretty good.

    Hit or miss for sure.

Lolz at Pocophone as the example for good specs at low price.

It's a forgettable slab with a high end snapdragon thrown in, it probably struggles with updates, doesn't have smooth software and/or bad software skin.

Throwing a high end chip in some low end chinese device is NOT enough to make a device premium.
LOL, you are a funny guy.

Pocophone F1 took on the iPhone X S Max without breaking a sweat...

Right, but in 2018/2019, a flagship is more of a $750 and up device, under that I would say mid range.
Key2 red edition is flagship? No way!

is this camera really that bad ? I mean how hard is it to just fix the issues you all speaking about. software fix and wolla everyone is happy 😊 I would consider this 📱 if this was fixed , but at 600 $ bucks you would have to be nuts to pull the trigger right ??

It would be easy if they actually had an employee who's specialized in camera stuff...

Just because it doesn’t have a great camera makes it a total shame? It’s a communication device first and foremost. I doubt they are making a killing on these devices to throw that much money and R&D into them. Give them time.

That's why some people carry two devices. I think passport and classic are still better communication device.

Never? No, but certainly not a priority in most cases.
Again, they are not selling 100 million devices. If we want to pay $1200 for the device, sure, they can spec it out the way everyone wants them to. They are trying to survive in a very niche market so everyone on here doesn’t start bit**ing about how they didn’t do this or that right and ended up giving up.

Blackberry used to have one and he was very active on crackberry. He helped develop the priv to be on par with the iPhone during that generation on DXO mark.

Too bad that they have regressed since then.

But the current camera software is made by TCL, so it's not BB that has regressed.

I really like the way the launcher allows me to use the app in different modes.

    Eg.
    Convenience key: video mode.
    Longpress c: manual mode
    Shortpress c: auto mode

For the quick draw shot it is great.

    Everything else. Just ok.

Are you talking about the normal BB launcher to do these things?
