So a few weeks into getting my key 2 it fell out of my pocket in my garage and the back camera lens cover shattered. I've tried looking around just for the lens, does anyone know a good site for spare blackberry parts?

Was it just the lens cover glass that broke or also both of the lenses inside? I can send you the lens cover if that's all it was.

Doesn't the lens cover come with the entire back panel on the K1?

Not necessarily. The one I bought was the lens cover. But I snapped the clips off trying to put the back on. Now I'm about to buy one with the entire cover.

Didn't have a case,I got one after and I have the protection plan on. I'd just prefer to buy the lens vs the $200 replacement device.

No repair shop so far has parts for it. What I just bought is like a screen protector for your lens, got them here! Hope it works, might be a few weeks but I can post back to let you know.

Pretty easy to take apart, except for the screen. I haven't attempted to put it back together, so I can't comment on that. I'm curious why you are looking for a lens cover for the Key2 if you have reservations about putting the phone back together....? Did you assume that the lens cover stuck to the back cover of the phone? It does not on the Key2. Also, for the third time, do you want the lens cover or are you trolling?

Yeah I don't feel comfortable taking it apart, I won't be doing that. The lens cover is just glass and the black rim is like 3m tape with the camera hole cut outs. It's identical to what I'll be ordering.

The lens cover is a one-piece, glass and metal cover attached to the inside of the phone, underneath and separate from the rubber backside panel.

The glass Is completely cracked off the frame of the lens. The lens is in tact still and the black 3m tape is still there. Think of it as putting a new glass lens into a pair of glasses. I don't need to remove the metal part and attach a new one. I'm simply going to put the glass lens protector over top the cameras. it fits into the cut out of the lens perfectly.

I had that happen to me too, just a short drop on hard packed snow and it cracked the lens cover bad enough to ruin any picture taken with bright light shining on the camera. I did find a supplier online, now to find someone brave enough to install it for me. I don't want to ship my phone away for a month so BB Canada can fix it. Kinda attached to it now.
