Here is the Aug 5 patch (bolted onto the May 2020 OS) for the KEY².

This OS build is meant only for North American devices - if installed on others, you may lose Google certification.

This will NOT install on Chinese (BBF100-4), Russian (PRD-63828-006), or Indian (PRD-63828-031) devices.

This will NOT install on any devices with PRDs ending in -5XX.

Remove device PIN/password, boot to bootloader screen, and run either flashall or flashallnowipe as per your preference. Note that if you choose to wipe, you do not have to remove your password first.

in point of fact, "coming soon" qualifies as natural language and as long as it is not fronted as a logo or a slogan of any kind, it's simply common usage and cannot be claimed against. but at least I got a laugh out of that.

OMBerry is vaporware at this point.... if it makes it to market, it will be next year.

Both the Pocket and PRO1x are Chinese owners.. so security wise not too great. Not that either is sitting on a shelf right now.

KEY2 with security patches is the only "real" option on the security side of things...

Hi, my Key 2 is a 100-6, PRD-63828-036, via OTA is still stopped as of November 2019 (ACF885). Could I do the ACW142 update manually? Is losing Google certification just a risk or a certainty? What does losing it mean in practice? Thank you.

It's pretty much a certainty but what it means in the real world is that you won't be able to make NFC payments, such as with Google Pay. I don't know of any other downsides to running the autoloader on a BBF100-6.

Hi, I tried to install the autoloader but I cannot exit the bootloader screen (which I arrived at by pressing the power and volume down button for 30 seconds), the third menu item that should start the fastboot actually continuously refers to the bootloader menu . I tried to start the autoloader anyway, but it tells me that all my data will be erased. How can I do? Thanks.

The bootloader screen IS fastboot. Now all you have to do is double click on the flashallnowipe file.

I have the 100-6 Hong Kong version. Just tried the autoloader for the first time as I'm way behind on security patches. It seems to fail every time I do it. It restarts a couple of times and on my PC screen says "failed" in the terminal box. Any ideas?
