Here is the Feb 5 patch (bolted on to last May's OS) for the KEY².

This OS build is meant only for North American devices - if installed on others, you may lose Google certification.

This will NOT install on Chinese (BBF100-4), Russian (PRD-63828-006), or Indian (PRD-63828-031) devices.

This will NOT install on any devices with PRDs ending in -5XX.

Remove device PIN/password, boot to bootloader screen, and run either flashall or flashallnowipe as per your preference. Note that if you choose to wipe, you do not have to remove your password first.

@conite, just out of curiosity, what are these devices and why don't the autoloaders work on them?

They were the devices sold in the EU during the second half of KEY² sales, and somehow were more compliant with new privacy laws there.

There is nothing unusual about them, apart from the fact that they don't use the same boot signature as the older global and N.A. models.

But since this OS is only designed for N.A. devices, the newer sig file is not present.

As a side note, the Indian, Chinese, and Russian variants use their own unique signatures too. As do the Verizon KEY² LE variants. And that's why they can't play either.

Tried again with a different cable, still the same problem where the autoloader "flashallnowipe" doesn't detect my phone as it's asking me to get it to the bootloader screen...which it already is. I wonder if I shouldn't try a different PC entirely.

Assuming you also tried several different ports on the PC you have?

Try the usual things - redownload, different cables and ports, etc.

Yeah...tried two of them. I really don't know what's holding it up

Has anyone actually successfully used this autoloader?

    Edit:

SOLVED!!! I had forgotten to install the BlackBerry USB driver first!

As far as I know, 100-6 refers to both Indian and HK devices, right? I have a HK device and was curious if there was any way I can get it to go beyond ACQ984. I'm assuming I can't.

There are 44 variants of the 100-6, and only 1 is from India.

But the -5xx limitation still applies.

So no chance of getting any of the 2021 updates on PRD-63828-018?

What a bugger. Thanks again Conite.

Really hoping OM pulls a rabbit out of a hat on this one because I've gone through a OnePlus and a UniHertz Titan in the last two months and I can't do it. Back to my broken Key2 and repairing it with ordered spare parts....

Oh, I can? Are there any good guides on here you could point me to? I searched "autoloader" and I'm not sure what I'm looking at. Would be nice to get the latest security patch on this thing somehow.

Won't I lose Google certification because it's not a NA device?

Here in Italy with BBF100-1 and PRD-63824-015, VodaIT.
    I've lost VoLTE.
I try enable it with "QuickShortcutMaker", but despite being active in the secret menu, on IMS info it says not registered, and in fact if I try to call the signal goes into 2g and the audio quality is low.
Does anyone have the solution to this problem other than downgrade?

My HK KEY2 (BBF100-6 with PRD-63828-019) lost Google certification after I autoloaded any of the updates after May 2020.

What does this actually mean in the real world?

    No Google Pay (contactless payments).

But I'd say that trade-off is well worth it to have a 9 month newer security update.

Maybe there will be a March one, who knows...TCL has surprised us more than once with this already lol

At this rate, we'll actually be able to say that the KEY2 got three full years of security updates if this goes on till August!
