It doesn't really depend on the carrier, updates get pushed to the specific PRDs they were intended for.

Although I think he meant that the PRDs associated with Telus and Rogers devices have the update listed.

given that it is such a painful process watching each update become available I was looking to get someone to confirm that if 2 out the three big three Canadian telcos got the update then the third should or could. now my phone is number 2 on the NA list I.e. not with a carrier and yet still shows nothing. I will jump on the autoloader that Conite has kindly provided

I downloaded from mega, grabbed the 7zip as well, highlighted the no wipe bat and plugged in my phone. message was to make sure it was in fast boost then underneath that message was this device is not recognized

So, is your device at the bootloader menu?

when I select the fast boot I press the on off button but to be honest I am not certain if that is correct

You don't have to select anything. If you see a menu, you are already where you need to be.

Assuming you downloaded and unzipped the autoloader, removed your device password, and your cable and USB port are working, yes.
