You can try downgrading to the first key2 firmware...supposedly that gets wifi calling working.

I hate that they removed wifi calling. Not purchasing a key3 if they never fix it on the key 2.

I can access the hidden menu it shows but cannot activate

you need the quick shortcut maker app. follow the summer moon listed instructions. he is a WIFI calling genius

I have dual SIM key 2 and it is hit and miss on it when I toggle the switch.

This is a carrier restriction, but at this point in the BBMo licensing agreement, I’d find a device that’s carrier supported if WFC is that important to you.

Wow! Nice! I'm with Rogers and they will not activate VolTe or WiFi calling for non carrier K2's.

Nobody supports WFC on Key2 in USA standard device feature. T-Mobile offers Digits product which I believe is a T-Mobile WFC plus other features package.

Yes. Get an app called quick shortcut maker. Scroll through the apps list until you get to phone services, Wi-Fi calling. Here you can set it as a favourite so it's a kinda quick toggle and then use when when needed.

I have it now as well from Virgin mobile in Canada which is basically Bell. I tried it out at my house as my service is poor. Not sure why I live in a small city. Anyway it was clear and nice. I just hate it makes notification sounds all the time telling me its on or whatever. Will try it more when I'm back home.

You can turn the notification sound off if you long press the notification menu for that specific part of the app.

Again WIFI calling works perfectly on the Key2 with TMobile. there are no restrictions. no need for the garbage called digits. it works just like the Key1 thanks to the great Summer Moon and his detailed steps

I would just like to know if you are talking about T-Mobile USA. I have not had any luck whatsoever getting wifi calling to work, using Summermoon's or any other method. (I have not rolled back my modem software, which seems to be the only thing that people say works with US carriers.) Digits, which is really clumsy, does actually work for me.

T-Mobile USA. Install the modem software once and then adjust the 3 settings using Quick Shortcut Maker and you are set. After an update or restart, you might have to adjust the 3 settings again and that's it. it is very simple.

So T-Mobile doesn’t officially support WFC on Key2 vs the KEYone which didn’t require the special extra voodoo? While I appreciate the go around information for others to attempt, it’s ridiculous to require all this when BYOD is supposed to be part of the base customer service and sales platform.

Thanks again for the extra information as it’s better than nothing especially for those not on the digits platform
