In the Key 2, how do I get the contacts to be ordered by last (not first) name?

I have the contact list showing with last name, first name, but order is still by first name.

So you're saying it's set properly, just not showing properly? Try changing the option and see if it adjusts properly after that.

Try this...
Open Contacts
Select the gear
Click on default display
Select "last name first"
Go back to contacts list
At the bottom, select the three bar icon on the left
Select "sort by last name"
You should now see your contacts sorted by "last" name.
