I think TCL go by the serial number. Check the build date?

Others have mentioned they need to provide proof of purchase with their KEY2 Claims... might depend on factors that we aren't aware of.

I received multiple k1 replacement without providing any receipts. Not sure if they changed their policy.

ebay and the seller has a 30 day return policy so i'm not that worried. I'm usually careful with my phones and use a case / screen protector.

Got the phone, looks to be perfect condition. The speed difference compared to my old K1 is huge. Build quality feels worse though. Could be the lighter weight and trembling space bar issue. LOL. Side buttons also don't feel as solid as the K1.

Happy with my purchase but glad I didn't pay full price.

That sounds strange my key 2 is solid all the way around no issues at all.

It's overall solid. just compared to my silver K1. Spacebar is a common issue so I'll just live with it.

Just because it happened to quite a few users doesn't mean it's acceptable and not annoying.

I couldn't live with it so when I had my KEY2, I cut up a very small rectangular piece of paper and placed it between the bottom of the spacebar and the chin of the phone.
I inserted it all the way in so that a tiny bit of paper was still seen, then took a black sharpie and colored the paper.
That should take care of 95% of the wobbling/looseness, and when the paper is colored black it'll be basically invisible.
You can reinforce it even more by adding a second small piece of paper between one side of the spacebar and the "0" key or the other side by the "SYM" key.

Don't settle for a crappy feeling spacebar.
