I just noticed something. I was about to purchased the Red Edition from bestbuy.com and have it sent to a private mailbox address that I have in Buffalo, when I noticed that in the specs, it does NOT say that the device is dual SIM.
@conite I remember you telling me in one of the threads that this was not the BBF100-6 and was an NA variant. Can you please share again which model it is listed on bestbuy.com and confirm if it's a single or dual SIM?

The BBF100-2 is the North American variant, which is single SIM. This is being sold by Amazon and Best Buy.

The BBF100-6 is the international dual-SIM variant, also missing N.A. bands 14, 29, 30, and 66.

I believe the Red Edition BBF100-6 is PRD-63828-038 (thanks @Rico4you) which makes it essentially the same phone with a new paint job. If so, I should be okay to get it for use in the areas that I mentioned above, right?

The case in the photo matches perfectly, but isn't protective enough for me. I just got another case (black) that is more secure (protective) and (in my opinion) looks WAY better with the black/red combo.

I'll have one of my kids take a pic so I can post.

Just placed my order on pdaplaza.ca. It's going to take 3-5 weeks to get to me as they import from overseas on demand and don't actually carry any stock.

I'm ok waiting as I just got a Pixel 3 to play with. Spoiler alert: while the P3 is a nice compact device with an amazing camera, it still can't match my level of productivity on my current daily driver, the KEY2 LE Atomic.

Can't wait to join the KEY2 RE club! Looking forward to getting back to 6 GB of RAM!

Looks awesome just wish they at least made the camera ring red if they can't do it to the logo

I have to say this: If BBMo releases a full QWERTZ version of the red K2, I'd even be tempted switching my black one for it. The red seems to look better than it did on some of the MWC footage videos. They already released the K2 LE in QWERTZ recently, so I haven't give up hope they might do the same for the big brother.

Yeah the keys certainly look whiter/brighter! The Red packaging and Red earphones too look great! Congrats!

Agreed that the red packaging and earphones are a nice touch to the phone colour. However, I don't see what you guys are talking about as it relates to the brightness of the keys. To me, they look the same. And if there is some more brightness on the Red, isn't it because they are new and untouched. Whereas the Silver one, no offence, will have hand grease and other marks on it.

Well, the red edition has the alt characters in white on the PKB where as on the SLV/BLK KEY2 they are dark grey so harder to read.
