Anyone know if the speed key works with both long and short press? Does it still allow for 50+ shortcuts or only half?

Anyone know if the speed key works with both long and short press? Does it still allow for 50+ shortcuts or only half?
Yes. Both.
Sweet thanks!!
Hello there, may I request that you install the DevCheck Hardware and System info app and let us know if the 6 GB ram installed is LPDDR4X? Also, don't know if you have an efficient way of finding out whether the storage memory is UFS 2.1 (vs emmc) ? Many thanks!!
That app require Accessibility Service. While it works great, it can also cause device lag, so can any app that require such service.
Which color looks more promising,, silver or black?
Is there any other functionality built into the speed key? If you double-press the speed key, does it alternate between your current and previously open apps? Does long pressing the speed key do anything?
Is it worth the $650 USD or should we wait for price drop? Sorry if asked already.
Happy it is better than K1. Wish it was as good as Passport. Baby steps I guess
Hi , please can you check is there a option in setting to turn off the navigation buttons and turn on gestures?
There is not.
Oreo gesture settings allow for opening the notifications shade with swiping the fingerprint sensor. (at least it does on a Nexus 6P).
Is it available on the KEY²?
Please add a blackberry 10 skin and launcher and tell us if it gives you an awesome BB10 navigation flow vs crappy android with a keyboard with typical android features approach. Would rather it ran BB11 with a current Android runtime and complete Play store use for modern apps but BB style OS flow
A decent BB10-style launcher was developed, but the product was abandoned because too few people were interested.
Too few people? The BB10 Brigade stepped up and downloaded it 300x . It just needed more marketing. Nobody knew it existed.
Ok. I think only one plus and vivo have this feature.
where is it?
It get removed from Play Store since Blackberry demand.
I'm pretty sure that isn't what happened at all. A group of developers worked on the launcher and had it working in beta, but blackberry pushed their patents around and halted development.
It would still be in the Play Store if it wasn't for Blackberry.
That was long after the developer had already stopped working on it.
It was already sunk before the cease and desist was issued. You saw the part about 300 downloads. Not 3,000,000, or 300,000 and not even 30,000 downloads. The developer would have settled for 3,000 at the end but 300 was it. Even with Android, loyal BB10 faithful can’t deliver sales for developers.
Here it goes:
1. Do you have any light bleed on the sides of your phone? My black Key1 had this issue.
2. Are the side buttons loose or firm in place? My Key1’s buttons were wobbly and made a faint clicking noise when touched. Felt very cheap.
3. When you pull down the notification shade, is there a slight flicker to the background?
4. How is the back cover? Is there any give and does it make a creaking sound when pressed at all?
Thanks
Hi!
In your opinion,
If the Passport SE sound quality is a 10, what is it on the Key2?
and........
If the Passport SE keyboard is a 10, what is it on the Key2?
Cheers!
The cost of the phone is not just it's hardware specs.
does the joint of where the keyboard meets the body line up nicely and flush? Is the keyboard (not keys) plastic or metal. The passport Se was poorly finished in that spot and not flush. Was plastic as well for the signal.
