Not liking it really, causing typo errors most of the times and invoking soft home button

Tried many apps but they are only helping in hiding status bar but not nav bar

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I used Button Remapper to remap the functions of the nav bar keys to no action and then turned the nav bar key brightness all the way down in the system settings and boom, no more nav bar.

Not working, I have disabled home button but it still shows recent apps while clicking on home button

This is how you need to set it (only the middle 3 Do Nothing actions in your case):

I'm using Fluid Navigation Gestures as a replacement.

Use adb with a PC or Mac (also works on Linux).

You don't need to give write access on the KEY2.

    I'm curious.

Edit: no, I'm not. I briefly forgot the point of the thread was to hide the nav buttons which are permanent, so using adb to hide them would merely be a waste of time and an exercise in futility. Carry on.

You only need to give write access to Fluid NG if you want to hide the software navigation bar, but the KEY2 doesn't have a software navigation bar, it has a hardware navigation bar. So it's useless to give it write access for 1 feature that doesn't even work on our devices. The rest of the features work fine without write access.
