See attached picture. When I add my VISA DEBIT to Google pay, it says it can't be added. I also tried to use TD mobile payment but it also doesn't work. I just want to use my Td visa debit via my phone. How do I do this?

Yet the Starbucks app allowed me to add my visa debit for purchases? That seems weird to me.
Thanks for the response. I won't switch banks over this, I just wish they supported mobile payment.

Are you sure your device is google certified?
What is your PRD and build number?

TD doesn't support Google Pay in Canada. Only bank that doesn't.

Stupid TDCanadaTrust. I want them to de-merger from TD. I want the old CanadaTrust back. How do they expect us to use their debit card accounts in this COVID-19 world, and when their cards keep de-magneticizing (yes I know the tap chips aren't really magnetic strip technology, but you get the point). Where's the nearest JohnnyCash machine?

Lot's of people want to be Canadian, right about now.

I know TD thinks they have the more security but they should still allow it.

I was just making Canadian joke but TD may have a risk tangent with Google Pay or a customer policy that could leave them exposed to unacceptable losses. Some USA institutions are the same way or so I’ve heard.

The one weird part is that they support it in their US branch network.

Completely different infrastructure. TD USA is built on BankNorth and Commerce Bancorp legacy infrastructure and different regulatory bodies as well from technical requirements standpoint.
