    It keeps showing up in the update list, and I never got much use out of it. How can I make it go away, delete it, or at lest not show up in the update list?

    It's a built-in app, it'll always show up in your update list. Perhaps a future OS update will make it removable though since it's no longer going to be supported come June.

    Can’t you disable it from Settings > App?
    From usage perspective you can turn it off for sure.

    I think he’s after disabling the app from getting updates.

    What if you Uninstall it? Does it give you disable option from there?
