Received my Key2 a couple of days ago and really like it. The only issue I have is a lack of a home key - it is quite possible there is one and I just do not know about it. I have tried to set up a short cut key, but I can not find an option to have a short cut to simply go back to the home screen - using the space bar or convenience key would be ideal.

    Any suggestions?

    Cheers

The circle is the 'Home' button.

Thanks Bla1ze. However I am wanting to assign a physical button to do that job. I am finding the circle is not always responsive. Cheers

You can use something like Button Mapper. - https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ar2.homebutton You can make you r conv. keys, volume keys, spacebar, whatever as a home button with one press, two presses or a long press.

Yes. I use the button mapper app and it works perfect every time. You can adjust the length of time you hold down the button so no accidental home screen when you are typing and pressing the space bar.

The only key I'd use to map it home would be the convenience key. I wouldn't touch anything on the keyboard unless you want to have a frustrating typing experience, imo

Double tap on the spacebar is good too. I tried it last night.

Yeah but if you tend to want to use the double tap for period while typing, you'll go to the home screen lol

I am assuming one has to purchase the full version of button mapper to map the convenience key and space bar?

I spent a lot of time on BB10 which kicked itself off with the strapline of "don't go back, keep going forward" and didn't have a go back home button, I've kinda got to thinking a home button is a bit archaic, probably just me, hee hee.
