To be or not to be....

Those die hard BB Fans not sticking to BBOS or BB10 till the bitter end.. and those in the market for a $650 phone.... a good number would probable say yes.

Good number would also say it's time to move on.

It's your decision... you need to weigh your needs, wants, budget and see if the KEY2 fits for you.

I have used a BB device going all the way back to the pager type device years ago. I have been forced to use Samsung devices a few years here and there but have never gotten used to a non-PKB phone. I work in the medical field and auto-correct is useless for me.

I had a Keyone and abandoned it due to the screen popping off. I bought a K2 a month ago and have been in heaven ever since. For my needs, in my industry, with my work schedule, this phone allows me to keep my laptop closed and get things done on the run.

I hope I retire before I have to use a non-PKB phone again.

This email post here is about as close as I get to non-work related use of my phone.

I would probably get a black or bronze addition KEYone. the keyboard on the Key2 looks and feels better but doesn't work any better than the KEYone. if gestures are not a thing for you then wait for the Key2LE. I really like using the capacitive keyboard on the Key2 it just doesn't work that well it has its moments.

I loved the Passport SE too, but the K2 is a really good device. Worth the switch.

I am a fan of BB10 and PKB, but I won't buy a full glass slab made my blackberry(TCL). Instead I would opt for iPhone or Pixel.
I am considering Key2 just for BB physical keyboard. But even for that I am reading lot about its build quality issues.
Coming from Passport, Key2 LE without capacitive keyboard is not impressive.

You may want to read my posts too about the build quality issues I’m suffering, the reluctance of my service provider, VodaFone UK to deal with the problem, and the weird lack of positive/helpful responses I’m getting here.

I love KEYᴛᴡᴏ so much. People call me weird for having this phone, coz no one uses PKB these days. I don't mind, I'm enjoying PKB a lot.

No. There isn't any lag with mine. I get instantaneous type from keyboard to screen.

I currently have a Pixel 2XL love the phone however I have been wanting to pick up this Blackberry because I miss the keyboard. Yes this phone now takes amazing pictures and videos are awesome but i dont really use it like that a whole lot. Im trying to find one on swappa though cause the 650 even tho cheaper than other phones is still a bit to high right now. I also wanted to first find it in a local store to get my hands on it before i commit but i cant find it anywhere.

I dumped my Classic about a year ago for S7 as i just got tired of lacks of apps and what Android stuff did work, worked sporadically at best. I don't use a lot of apps but basic stuff like the Score is essential for my 'work' (hehe). Love the S7.

Now on the other hand, the Fairest of All Fair Maidens swears by her Classic. She's just a PKB kinda gal (even tho most every emoji she sent from the Classic appears as green cats to the recipient). Battery started crapping out so much to her chagrin initially ('$650???? No way!!'), bought an unbranded K2 from Amazon. She's digging it tho I keep trying to get her to increase her font in Textra since she now has the screen real estate.

I'll say this, I bought my KEY2 a week ago.

It's ten times better than the KEYone (minus the camera, in some aspects). But I miss older BlackBerry's so much I'm buying a 9780 with a texting plan only.

Go for the KEY2, it's a good device. I just don't agree with the pricing.
