In a reddit thread, I asked if the Key2 was coming to Freedom and an official staff member posted "Hope not! lol"

They just lost a customer. I also logged a complaint with the company.

Oh and in case he/she deletes their comment, I took a picture of it.

The page clearly states that it's an unofficial page and the employees are speaking they're personal opinion.

In other words, they don't care if they offended you.

Technically, an employee of any company is expected to conduct themselves professionally regardless of if they're on or off duty. Employees of company's are never to bad mouth their own company, their employers partners, vendors, affiliates, etc...

That is very basic level corporate behavioural training that any self respecting corporation teaches their employees. It is inappropriate whether it's their personal opinion or not.

I believe Freedom Mobile is simply Shaw Cable's wireless company.

When using my Motion to type comments on this website, there is no lag.

When I use my KEYone to type, there's major lag. What could that be?

    Clear your cache maybe?

I don't experience any lag on my KEYᵒⁿᵉ.

I didn't either, until this replacement. Oh well. Cache clearing, albeit good, doesn't work on a brand new device.

Maybe the employees have a reason to not want to take on another PKB phone.

I don't think Freedom sold the KEYone. No LTE 66 so it would miss out on most of their network, especially around the time of release.

Really good point about the screen. He also could have been referring to band 66. In my experience in both buying and selling phones the number 1 motivation tends to a 'spiff'.

While I think the comment was unprofessional, and I doubt their employer would be happy about it, it is what I have come to expect from a cell phone store employee.

    Unsubbed.

Well, what the hell does lack of quality adhesive behind a display have to do with a physical keyboard?

    Nothing.

Any manufacturer could theoretically have the same flaw on a specific batch of units.

If the KEYone had a widespread issue about keys falling off, then your comment could make sense.

But thankfully, very thankfully, that was not the case.

But Samsung Note 7 caught on fire previously and caused a mass recall..... Do u think this incident made them don't take any Samsung phone? The note series specifically.

Samsung has a good reputation and sells in high volume; BlackBerry, not so much.

Please review the numerous posts and vids on the subject from the period.

TL;DR version: Screens that don't cover the length of the phone are more likely to pop off from flexing unless they are very securely attached.
