    Swipe down from the top, edit the shortcut icons, and put flashlight in the most-used section, center (right, left, top or bottom) or left or right most area. That's what i'll be doing once I get the key2.

    Ugh, that feature won't work natively, now that I further read it. You'll need an application for it, IF one exists. Else, just use the notification LED and use a custom colour.

    Then again, LED flashlights that take 1 AA or AAA battery are really affordable nowadays.

    according to the latest Google policy they had to remove the messages permission. Maybe there's a way how to access message notification.

    More details on the message alerts from the dev: "Missed call notifications are no longer available, and text message notifications are available by selecting a text app in the app filter. The apps filter is now free."
