the promo video seems to include Firefox Focus as a part of their security suite... yet photos of the device still have chrome on the home screen. Is this just a pre-installed app or do we know if it actually is baked in on some capacity?

I think I remember them sayin it was part of the re-vamped Locker app / suite.

Pointer mode possibly? That would be a nice feature

Firefox focus is pre-installed inside the locker, so in addition to the privacy features of the browser you also need your fingerprint or password to use it. It's meant for looking a sensitive web pages, Chrome I assume is still the default browser. I believe you can move apps in and out of the locker as you please so you can protect any app you like inside the locker.

So basically surf your porn on Firefox Focus, your regular stuff on Chrome? That's what I gathered from the presentation.

It should be inside your fingerprint (or password protected) Locker.

When you go into a locker for the first time it asked you to set a password for locker it should not be the same one as for your booting up the device but if you choose to use that weaker password then go ahead. Last time I tried look at it works both ways

If it isn't pre-loaded there's nothing stopping you installing Firefox Focus, DuckDuckGo or Brave from the play store and moving it to your locker?

I thought the point of Focus is that it wipes after each session anyway - so what is the additional benefit of having it inside the locker? I already use it as the default browser on my KeyONE.

Same here. I do not see any other benefit. Not sure what you gain by putting this app in the locker...

People won't know as Firefox Focus doe not leave any traces anyway. When you close the browser everything gets removed: cookies, history, cache etc. So no clue why would you put this in the locker...

Not everyone looks at pork on their phones. Lots of uses for this. Banking app. Sensitive work documents. Web pages that you don't want tracking you or your shipping habits and more.
