Is it possible to alter the autoloader to make it work with 5x5 devices?
    Nope.

    No other theory makes sense.
Would TCL be greasing the PKB aficionados crowd to pave the road to a Key³ launch essentially the same with 5G and I hope wistfully for QI and some more choice components ???

TCL was very careful not to make any update commitments for the KEY² when it was launched. Nevertheless, they did get pretty close to two years of patches - even forgetting about these recent NA updates which have been forced upon them.

The KEY² LE certainly got its two years.
Right, they were very careful not to make update commitments because they didn't meet them the first time.

One letter uprade and 2 years of patching. Check for both KEYone and Motion.

As we've been over, this is patently false and you know it is.

You didn't like that they weren't delivered the same day as Google, but they WERE delivered.

In any event, the situation was different for the KEY².

They were not delivered. They were supposed to be delivered monthly. They were delivered randomly, sometimes monthly, sometimes not.

If we ignore the autoloader option, they did not deliver the two full years for most international KEY2's.

As for the few NA KEY2's that kept receiving patches until now, they technically exceeded expectations. But apparently it's only because they were "forced" to.

Seems like some entity is keeping the Key2's patched up in NA (and possibly) until the new BlackBerry 5G QWERTY is ready. Certainly cool for NA Key 2 owners.

Try clearing the cache for the BlackBerry Keyboard app.
I still can use finger print for my banking apps, even without Google Certification.

Cool for anyone who is willing to autoload the patch even if they're on the other side of the world.

If I had to guess, most don't even know of CB yet alone visit it yet alone know of the autoloading option.

I just received this patch OTA on my NA KEY2, but I know it won't come to my HK one so I'll have to autoload that one when it becomes available.

If I autoloaded ACU282 before my variant eventually got it OTA, am I still in the loop to receive this patch OTA?

My -2 model is also a red one with the same PRD as his and I just got the February patch this morning, whereas I had to autoload January.
