I'm being told that the 2nd sim will only support 2g and will not work in the United states.... only the 1st sim slot will work. It's the BBF100-6 version phone. I was hoping to use both sims like I can successfully with my wife's key2 LE

    Any input?

I have the same exact question, but it seems very difficult to get an uncomplicated answer. Maybe nobody has actually tried it in the USA and everyone is going on hearsay.

Second sim supports “4G”. I highly doubt it’d be a downgrade from the BBB100-7. But I was able to have att 4g. (NOT LTE) along with LTE on another carrier simultaneously.

Similar experience here (also U.S.) using MetroPCS and AT&T on my -7 KeyOne.

Looks like the Secondary line is 2G ? So would not work on ATT in US?

Anybody have actual experience this year using both sims on ATT? (voice and data?)

I am using BBF100-6 here in the US on both Verizon and ATT simultaneously. I can confirm I get 4G LTE on both sims and can use both voice and data with no issue.

To be clear here, can both SIMs be active at the SAME TIME? Aka you have two phone numbers on two SIMs in ONE -6 model and you call the number on SIM one and the phone rings? Then if someone calls SIM 2 the phone will ring as well??

What if you're on the line on SIM1 and someone calls on SIM2? Will the call come through or go to voicemail?

    Thanks in advance!

Yes - that's the idea of a dual sim phone. Only one sim can be active for data at one time though.

Not sure about the voice mail scenario as it hasn't come up for me - but that's how it should work.

Can you confirm that texting is both sending AND receiving on Verizon on the BFE100-6??

I'm rolling the dice here. Just bought the BBF100-6 now. I have Verizon working perfectly in my Key2 LE so I'll do a SIM swap when I get it in and let you all know my experience!

Yes, I can receive and send texts on Verizon on my BFE100-6 model.

For what it's worth, I had a Key2LE previously running on Verizon and took that sim to pop into the Key2. The sim was provisioned for cdma-less devices.

I am on AT&T and have been using a dual 100-6 since July and had no issues... my primary is AT&T for all data and secondary is DU, I believe data will work on the primary only.

Verbatim procedure here!! Have CDMA-less provisioned SIM/account working in Key2 LE now. Will swap SIMS once it comes here. Phew, glad I ordered the -6 model then! The -2 US model is like over $100 more and for nothing...

The -6 is missing important N. American LTE bands if you were on AT&T, Telus, or Bell though.

    PSH! I don't care. Verizon is 2, 4, 5 and 13 and that's all I care about!

Yes, I know you're on Verizon, but I wanted to warn others.

But one caveat is that success even on Verizon is still to be tested/confirmed.

you're also not getting any warranty with a 100-6 model in the US. I had one and had a bad space bar and I shipped it back within return period. if I had kept it and it got Worse I would be sol.

The -6 is fully compatible with AT&T LTE bands in the US (2,4,5,12,17)

I have been using it on AT&T with no issues.

Yes. But band 29 is used for no-buffering media streaming, and band 66 is up-and-coming. They are also moving high-speed service to band 30.

As conite said it's NOT fully compatible! Band 30 is their congestion relief band and I know for a FACT that't the primary band used in my moms neighborhood (Lombard, IL) so without that band supported it's *NOT* going to be perfect... It's odd though cuz Phonescoop shows support for band 29/30 and 66??: https://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=5804

Weird cuz the BB site here shows that they do NOT support those bands: https://blackberrymobile.com/specifications/keytwo/

    Me thinks phonescoop is wrong!
