There are no ads on any BlackBerry branded phone. If you downloaded Hub on a Samsung phone there are ads.
I feel the same way for a good percentage of my emails but there are some emails that I need to have my dual monitors and 10 key for the amount of numbers and specifically pricing I'm sending to my clients.
Just today I sent a response to a customer that was quite lengthy but full of bullet points and sub bullet points. I definitely could have done it on my KEYᵒⁿᵉ but having the office setup was key.
So if you wouldn't type them on your KEYone, you obviously wouldn't do it on a slab. Point proven.
I work two jobs, IT and martial arts classes. For the former I can write scripts and do PowerShell/SSH as if I were on a laptop, for the latter I can write lesson plans, confidently email high value customers (governmental and security), and make social media posts.
I really miss MIUI, but I can't deny how much frustration the glass has been giving me.
There's a reason why most tech and machinery still use physical buttons/switches/levers instead of full touch interfaces - because it just works better.
But when it comes to smartphones, there is an inexplicable hate of physical buttons, namely: The keyboard.
Actually the phones you quoted are full touchscreens and also have a physical keyboard. And with the phones you quoted you can actually run two different applications in split screen without having to bring up a software keyboard just type on the hardware keyboard in any screen.
I do a lot of typing. From communicating with friends, to blogging and writing. The Key 2's keyboard abilities is bar none, from flick typing, the way it predicts and programs not just English words but even my own native tongue and dialect. I don't like touchscreen keyboard because of the tendency of touching the adjacent letters. I love the fingerprint and picture password and the way you could customize all the apps that's running for easier access. The only drawback is the camera could be better however it's workable.
Exactly. Critics go on and on about the screen size of this phone. How big does a screen have to be. Even for watching media on this device it's fine. The key 2 is a phenominal device.
Yeah I find that interesting. Tablets have never taken over laptops but for some reason touch screen phones are preferred over the PKB. I don't get it. I will never be able to type on glass. Even when I owned the Motion I loved the phone but the typing speed cannot be matched on a PKB. I honestly don't know how people type on glass without making errors I wrote this entire post without looking at the keys once I cannot do that on a touch screen
in essence blackberry for me has always been my personal computer... it's a communication powerhouse, having the added benefits of modern apps and conveniences is a bonus. I still prefer bb10 for its functionality and smoothness, but there is no denying the benefits of a modern OS
Couldn't agree more..I honestly do not require a laptop because of this phone it does it all!
I'm a motor trader
I use my key 2 for:
Emails
Texts
Calls
Taking photos of cars
Screenshots
EBay messages
Taking notes
Spreadsheets of accounts
Printing receipts
What's app business to contact customers
To do list which I use daily
And most importantly my business online banking!!!!
Probably missed more out
This is a professionals phone
Not time for games and crap
There are some things I'd still prefer a laptop for instead of any mobile device, but when it comes to simply typing on the go, having a PKB on my phone makes far more sense than having to carry a laptop for that, which may be the case for slab users.
Absolutely! I am frequently traveling around and I use my Key 2 for doing all things I need.
I carry a Surface Go too but I use it only for reading big excel or PDF files.
