I ve noticed that ctrl + c doesn't work. It doesn't copy. Whereas ctrl + v or ctrl +z works fine. has anyone already had this issue?

It's app specific. All of them work in some apps, none of them work in others, and a few combinations work in some. All of that falls under Android's and the app developers' domain of control.

Unless, can you not get Ctrl-C to work anywhere on the OS for you?

Mine is working. Is there a specific app that's giving you problems?

Well you're damn right. It works in doc, but doesn't work in chrome whereas ctrl - v works in both.

I don't seem to have any problems in Chrome, both work. If there is a specific example I can try I'll be happy to do so.

It's a WebView issue. Not likely to work in all apps so long that different apps are using different WebView versions.

That is yet another caveat to having BlackBerry on Android! And to be clear, this is not a complaint

For instance in crackberry when I select a word, ctrl c does not work. If I try to paste in the address bar, it will not paste the word copied in crackberry. Dunno if I m clear.

You made it very clear. I do know there are some apps that don't allow copying, the Crackberry app is one. Anything I can copy I can paste anything in Chrome.
That is a difference between Apple's and Blackberry's (RIM) OS, all apps must conform to the same standard, and Android where there isn't such standardization.

Yeah, it's just as if an external keyboard is paired with Android. Some apps won't support all functions of that keyboard.

The currency key can be set as the Ctrl key under Settings > Shortcuts & gestures > Customize the currency key

Strange, my settings show the ctrl replacement key as "?123". I don't even know what that key is? on the other hand, mine is the Int'l Dual-SIM variant, so perhaps it's different?

I believe that is the "alt" key.

That's for virtual keyboard option. When you have it enabled then you can press and hold ?123 and it'll behave as CTRL.

As for the physical keyboard, you can set your $ (currency key) to behave as CTRL, Right Shift, etc from Settings > Shortcuts & gestures > Customize the currency key
