After the most recent update. I can practically watch my battery drain. Took it off the charger only a few minutes ago and less than 3 hours life expectancy. Anyone else?

I had this too. I ran it all the way down to shut off. Waited 4-5 hrs and then charged to 100. seemed to reset the battery meter.

If it's an app issue, power center should be able to tell you if there are any runaway apps.

is it actually draining that fast? Remember the estimates base off of current use so if you are watching a movie the estimate will probably be different than reality.

yes it is. if I don't plug in every few hours, I only get a few hours. I tried a hard reset it seems to have helped a bit but still not close to what I was getting before the update.

If you scroll down on the battery meter you can see what apps are using the power. You can also "force stop" most of them.

I have been doing that. in fact, part of what is puzzling me is that only a few apps are showing and are showing minimal battery drainage. I have been forcing them closed anyway but to no avail.

my battery has definitely got worse with the last update and no apparent app drain
