I've tried turning off every suggestion possible in BlackBerry keyboard settings but when holding down a letter key for example "T" I can't seem to get the suggested character bar to stop coming up.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the BlackBerry keyboard but nothing seems to work.

If anyone has an insight I'd greatly appreciate it. Please see screenshot.

You're pressing the letter too long. I don't think you can turn the feature off

Capitalizing a letter with a longer press is finicky at best. I too often get the added characters pop up and inserted. Quite annoying!

I usually use long holds to capitalize letters but seems the hold time threshold is a bit shorter than I've gotten accustomed too. thanks for your feedback
