I'll bet this is an android thing but is the only way to dial with the virtual number pad in the phone app?
I loved being able to dial from the keypad and from anywhere on the phone no matter what app you were in (OS10). Has that vanished? I hate doing this on the keypad because of the very loud touch tones that appear. I shouldn't have to keep resetting my volume based on what I"m doing just to silence those tones. Makes it annoying to dial when you want to be silent.

While we're on the phone subject, how do I get the volume controls to work (hardware buttons) while I'm on the phone? They work all other times but while i'm on a call I can set the volume to zero but the volume of the caller doesn't change.

You can dial from PKB when you open phone app and have dial pad show up.

The old BlackBerry mode is not existing anymore.

You can silence touch pad sound.

Ah ok just inside the dial pad "app" then. Thanks. I thought maybe my speed dial keys were interfering.

For those that follow - the dial tone mute is not in the dial pad itself. Its in Settings/Sounds/ Dial Pad Tones (near the bottom).
