I looked this up on the internet. It says to go to assistant settings, device settings and enable the "toggle" so that you can say "OK Google" even when the screen is off. However, I don't see this toggle in my settings. How can I make assistant activate even when my screen is off?

Even if you turn on personalised results on the locked screen, some of the Assistant's answers can only be found and listened to when the device is unlocked. This applies to:

payments;
Google Photos;
Requests to start other applications;
questions about sensitive data, such as your name and address.
If you add Google Assistant to the alarm in the Clock app and include a request for personal results, you can find or hear them even if you turn off personal results on the locked screen.
