Hi!
I have an iPhone 8 as a work-phone (that i also use as a private phone) and I want to separate the two things now. Therefore I need a new phone.

I could just buy an iPhone Xs/11, or something similar, with 2 sim cards, but I am also feeling the need for a physical keyboard.

Would it be totally stupid to buy a Key 2 (or Key2 red) at this time? I am mainly thinking about updates, etc.?

If you can live without updates... give it a try, it might be the last chance you get to own both a BlackBerry and a mass produced PKB phone. But the KEY2's updates will end in a few months, it's KEYboard isn't "perfect" and it's a two year old midgrade phone being sold for a premium...

The red KEY2 is the best BlackBerry that money can buy.

OP, I say go for it.

Updates are one thing, but the Red KEY2's keyboard is so good that you won't be thinking of them while you're typing for work on it.

I've got a Red Key2 but to be honest whilst the keyboard is a *little* better, you still can't go wrong with the Silver or Black versions at a lower cost. Updates are still coming through (in the UK at least) but I can see my device lasting me another 2 years+ with/without updates

I've gone from a Priv, Passport, Z10 to a silver Key 2. I never thought I would get used again to a physical keyboard but it's very easy to use. Plus the battery life is phenomenal

No one knows. I would honestly recommend that you buy The Red Key2 if you really like it. I prefer the design of KEYone to Key2 and recently bought the Bronze Edition. So, The Red Key2 is still 699 Euro on BlackBerry EUstore and you just go and get it

I think the colour just depends on your own personal taste, however most of the owners of the red k2 will confirm that the pkb works well including the space bar and swipe up of predictive text etc.
My black K2 has issues with the swipe up and one side of the space bar not working most of the time
The notification red spark on my k2 is massive, lol.

Hahahaha over 3K £ for a KEY2, I don't care how solid the spacebar is, that phone is worth less than a quarter of that ridiculous asking price.
