My phone works very well in my car but I can't play the media files. Is there something I should do in the settings?

Couldn't depend on the car's infotainment? In my car sometimes it gets blocked

In Settings>Connected Devices>Bluetooth tap the gear symbol on your Bluetooth paired device list, and make sure the Media check box is checked like this;
