BlackBerry bae write and article and it started with some love for BlackBerry al these years and how sad he was writing the article and spin a little back about the rumours between TCL and BlackBerry Mobile and they did talk to TCL.

It seems TCL was saying that they miss some Blackberry support like last year on IFA and it seems the realtion betwoon both was not that positve but they didn;t give much away.

The main question about a new device they mention there was a new device (prototype) but there where some issues and to bring out the device will cost more then before and it would make the device to expensive. This is all about fees and patents

The change it would come out was 30% and would be decided next year but the reaction was that they self didn't think it would come out, still 30% Problem is BlackBerry Ltd. has patents for it and wants, which does not really surprise us, fees for it. And that's why it's going back and forth between the parties involved.

How about Pie was another story and that seems BlackBerry Mobile his fault and more and maybe there would be an upgrade if there would be a new BlackBerry Device and could be also for older version like the KEY2 (Not sure).

    Update's

Is TCL / Blackberry Mobile Approaching Its Update Promise for the KEYone?

Short and sweet: NO! Thus, for TCL / BlackBerry Mobile is the statement of Konrad Adenauer, the first Chancellor of our Republic: What bothers me my gossip of yesterday!

TCL / BlackBerry Mobile has promised a major update at launch of the KEYone and monthly security updates for two years from its release date. This was also respected. But a few months later, TCL / BlackBerry Mobile fiercely promoted its partnership in the Android Recommended Program. In addition to technical minimum requirements, the program also stipulates the following obligations (!!!) of the device manufacturer: Safety patches from the device manufacturer are transmitted within 90 days and this is guaranteed to be three years!

The last update for the KEYone comes from April 2019. Who can expect, will easily recognize that the 90-day period has already been significantly exceeded. Currently, the Android Recommended Program website still lists the KEYone, KEY2 and KEY2LE models. On this website is even a KEYone silver prominently displayed. So again, a commitment on the part of TCL / BlackBerry Mobile is not respected.

So far and the reaction of BlackBerry Base between the lines was that there talk with TCL brought was not so hopefull and to me it seems a some kind of farewell but still maybe the 30%
