Thanks for posting this. They claim the "US Release" version will be 2 weeks later but what they are selling will be delivered to me in the US on the 26th. Any reason why I would NOT buy this version now? Does anyone think a US Carrier will have this ready by the 26th?

You're right. The BBF100-1 is an import from outside North/South America.

And as for T-Mobile bands, the BBF100-1 is missing LTE 66/71, while the BBF100-2 is missing LTE 71. All other T-Mobile US bands are there.

Yeah I was about to pre order this one but I'm on T-Mobile and I need full compatibility.

I just realized my Passport Silver Edition don't have the 74/66 bands either, and works just fine on T-Mobile :v

You passport doesn’t have band 12 either which T-Mobile is very dependent on.

There is a difference in it works most the time, and it works all the time a the highest speeds possible.

Biggest issue is the ending of 2G and 3G services by the end of 2019. So what works now thanks to non-LTE coverage, might not in a year in a half. Some of the newer LTE bands like 71 will become much more important to users. It is a lower frequency band and that seems to be what most carriers want.

00-2 also doesn't have 71. So is a loss picking either one. :/

I actually never ordered it as I do not want to buy from a company I do not know. At the time I was thinking of doing it, but I just do not know that company well enough to feel okay ordering from them. As for T-mobile, I am in a group that is dedicated to T-mobile phones and that is the one that is stated that you should get if you have T-mobile, so they have the version information correct.

00-1 should be the one to get? Or 00-2? I cancelled my pre order since I'm worried about band 66

The lack of Band 71 is very disappointing. Those on T-Mobile in the USA are expecting this band within the next year. Band 71 is going to be very important to those of us in rural areas. My local tower is expecting this band to be installed in the first quarter of 2019. Why would I purchase a device without this band? We are talking about future-proofing here. Someone at TCL just doesn't get it.

If you want LTE 66, you'd need the BBF100-2, although, as has been said, neither of them has LTE 71.

I live in the keys, I'm not sure if I need 66, what about BUFFALO NY? I'm moving there soon so I don't know if I will need band 66 (have a 004 Passport SE and works fine here and there will they KEY2 have issues there?)

I live in Tampa so I get it. However, Buffalo has it's own sense of climate issues according to all the old people that flee Buffalo from November to April. There wasn’t anything in Charlotte to Denver? Good luck, we’ll see you in February/March. LOL

I live in Toronto which is only slightly north of Buffalo and you guys get waaaaaaaay more snow than we do. A lot of the Arctic winds go southbound and picks up all that Lake Ontario water and dumps it on poor Buffalo for the wickedest lake effect.

Be sure to pack some snowpants, boots, a shovel and get some snow tires!

What exactly does band 66 do and where will it be utilized? Did the K1 have it?

I am on tmo now and had a K1 and now on mate 10.

    I am outside of Chicago.

Any phone with 2/4/12 has always given me full LTE

    Just ordered.

Did a bit of research and band 66 will not be in my area anyway. Only a couple cities 50 miles south of me.

The 001 variant has 2 4 5 12 which tmo uses heavy in Chicago so I'm good.

Order total came out to 657 usd including overnight shipping!!

I'm excited. Hopefully will be one of the first in us to have it. Estimated ship date June 25th.

Also their website mentions 2 years of manufacturer warranty but I doubt it'll be covered in the US since I'm buying from great Britain.

Any way willing to be a guinea pig.
