So today I came back from the Gym and went home. Stayed at home for like 30 mins and that's when I realized I forgot my phone in the car.

Upon reaching to it, I see a bunch of notifications:

Wifi has been turned off to protect your phone due to high heat

Cellular data has been turned off to protect your phone due to high heat

Device performance limited to protect your phone due to high heat

Flash light disabled to protect your phone due to high heat

The heat outside was 48C here in Dubai but very nice that the phone is smart enough to do all this to protect itself from dying

Most phones, if not every phone has this build in. It prevents the phone from overheating by slowing down the processor speed and turning off certain features. If the phone is still too hot after all this, it will turn itself off.

Last week, the phone of my father in law turned itself off after getting too hot in the sun. He has a Nokia 3 Android phone

ohh ok. Guess I was excited because it's the first time this has happened to me so I thought it's like some Voodoo DTEK or BlackBerry feature
