Hi guys

Having a real nightmare with my key2

It's stuck in a continuous boot loop

I get the black berry splash screen and it just keeps restarting

Left it in the airing cupboard overnight with no luck

All started when i was ironing my clothes and the steam went in it

But this might be coincidence as it worked for a good hour before this happened

This started when I used a car charger

I think it's zapped ?

Hold down the power button for 32 seconds.

If that doesn't work, put the device in fastboot and try and autoloader. You will have to use the wipe option.

How do I get it into fast boot because it keep rebooting ? Do i use the first link for the auto loader as i am in the UK

Is there a certain key sequence for fast boot

Please advice as I'm going to try it now

right... i cant get into select anything in the fast boot menu as it keeps rebooting as if the power button is pressed contiously

You mean it can't even stay on the fastboot screen?

If not, there is an circuit board fault with the device.

basically i just held down the volume down button and the phone went in to the fast boot menu

Just whacked the power button with the back of a knife and it has seemed to have dislodged what ever was causing a short !
