Although the graphics are much weaker the CPU in the Snapdragon 660 is only about 15% slower than the 835. It's nearly 2 times more powerful than the Keyone.
I am surprised that k2 is 2 times more faster than k1. When k1 released, people here in CB argue that k1 is as fast as Samsung note 8 w/ snapdragon 835 lol.

I'll believe that when I see it.
Well yeah, real world performance on software with a variety of apps and settings is hard to predict. But the CPU benchmarks are all public if you want to look them up.

But CPU benchmarks outside of a device are irrelevant in the real world. Real world performance of the KEYone for me sucked.

Well I should clarify, the processor is 2 times more powerful. Opening an email won't be twice as fast because how much faster can that really get? It's with demanding apps where you will see the difference compared to Keyone.

I think people with the note 8 comparison may have gotten carried away. Lol. Sure with basic tasks it may have been close but with any heavy tasks it shouldn't be.

They lied, and the worst is they probably had to lie to themselves to believe that BS

Yes and now they're caught up with snapdragon 835 after a year and still inferior to 835. Just disappointing in my opinion.

Your right, the real world software implementation is just as, if not more important than the processer for performance. But since the software of Keyone and Keytwo should be similar (once Keyone gets an Oreo update) the benchmarks should be a pretty good comparison tool between those two devices.

4% slower than the 835. The only reliable benchmark that doesn't use the GPU is the multi-core score from Geekbench.

And yes, the 660 score on the same benchmark is double the 625.

I was using the single core and multi-core geekbench scores on notebookcheck. But looking more closely I see there is a large gap between the best and worst 835 depending on which phone is used. Like a 13% difference between the S8 and OnePlus 5 with the same processor. Foul play?
