I currently have the KeyOne from Rogers and would like to get the Key2. But don't want to sign to a 2yr plan. Seems only carriers in Canada that are "officially" selling the Key2 (non LE) there's a person selling in Amazon.ca that's International version (no warranty), anybody tried this?

Just checking my options... I spend half my time in Germany, but they are expensive here.

You can purchase the international version on amazon and ship it almost anywhere.

Not sure if you are with a Canadian carrier or not, but you can still buy from a carrier outright if you want, either in a retail store or online.

However the 'international' dual sim version (BBF100-6) might be better suited for you, and it should also cost less (Swiftronics, Pdaplaza, Amazon, etc). Just be careful which variant you get (PRD#). India version hasn't been updated in a while, and both Russian and Indian variants won't work with an autoloader.

    Thanks for info!
I still have my Rogers SIM and its still active, I use it when I'm in Canada and when I'm in Germany I use Vodafone.

That's what I am afraid of from the International version which updates might not come regularly . Also not looking for dual SIM since I have no problems switching SIM cards. Not to mention Rogers international plan is horrible, I doubt any Canadian carriers are any better.

The problem with buying it outright from Rogers its $800! If possible I would prefer not to spend that much.

If you're ok with a reseller and a bit of waiting and a dual-sim, pdaplaza has it for $640 CDN

Amazon.de is selling from time to time key2 (BBF-6, PRD -008 that is quertz) for 515 € dual Sim or 449€ single Sim. Gets updates regularly and has warranty. That's the best price I've found on a new one
