I feel like coming up on 3 years later the Key2 is still King of PKB, especially with the updated security patch.

What do you think? The Titan and the Pro 1 seem pretty good too.

My biggest complaint is the premium price. If I were going to buy one right now I would be trying to find a cheaper option. Maybe the Titan or the upcoming Titan Pocket.

Titan Pocket looks good.... have to see if they have improved the issues some had with the keyboard.

That's if you can overlook the whole - limited updates and it running a MediaTek chip chipset from a Chinees company.... KEY2 might hold it's crown till OM get's their phone to market.

Won't see either to later this year....

I liked the Bold. Loved the Classic. But I was addicted by the 8820.

I've only used BB10 phones and the KeyOne. Briefly tried the Priv.

Q5 I felt was really underrated and had a nice keyboard.

For me, I'd go all the way back to the 6210 with the scroll wheel! An indestructible workhorse that I used 16+ hours a day to manage a team of 120+ people across 5 time zones in a frantic scaling of a startup from 40,000 to 2,000,000 users in less than two years.

I sent over a hundred and fifty thousand messages in that time, and read more than a million. The device slipped from my hand or fell off the roof or hood of my rental cars dozens of times without breaking, and I never had to think about charging it, even during 36 hour marathon travel/work periods.

Today, there are dozens more apps on my devices than the 6210 offered, but, as a pure communications device for someone leading a large team, I've never found its equal. Today's phones are organized around the needs of individual users, and that's great, but personally, I loved having a single, universal communicator that connected everyone and that was ONLY configured for work.

This was probably the first BlackBerry I used. That wheel on it was awesome for scrolling through the email queue, although when initially used it resulted in thumb cramps for me. With belt holster, that device made it look like a bunch of folks from the wild west.

I’m younger so I only go back as far as the AT&T 7290 which I returned for the AT&T 8700 since it had just been released.

The funny thing was that our IT department had been an early adopter of BlackBerry 2-way pagers, before they offered built-in phone service, so they never provisioned them as phones, even after they were usable as phones. I was issued a BlackBerry for email, calendar, contacts, notes and tasks, connected to our servers AND a flip phone for calling.

But this is also why I chuckle when people give me a hard time about giving up on the PKB post BB10. I've probably typed 3-4x as many words on a PKB as almost anyone I can think of, and I'd ha e lived to continue if operating systems and apps still fully supported the PKB.
