I'm sorry I never came back here. I did receive the case (4 to 5 days after ordering it, I think - I'm in Europe), and I have been travelling with it for 2 months now (hence why the very delayed reply). I like it. It's very functional and the leather is of a great quality, very smooth. My phone sticks out by a couple of millimeters but it's not an issue for me (although, if given a choice, I would have preferred if my phone had been completely protected). The engraving of my name has not faded. And the clasp works great. Time will tell, but after 2 months of heavy use, so far so good.

Received my OEM Soft Shell Case for my KEY2 yesterday as well as the Supershieldz screen protector. Really liking the OEM case... fits nicely, looks good, provides adequate protection, and side buttons/volume rocker button work very nicely. I highly recommend if you want to spend the extra money for a case... not available in the US unfortunately but I got mine from Blueshop and it arrived in 5 days from day of order. Not bad shipping time Quebec to Denver.

The Supershieldz screen protector is also very nice, looks great and functionality of the screen is not affected. I highly recommend both of these to protect your KEY2.

You can order them in bulk but the low-down is that these are 3-amp 30AWG, aluminum extruded ends, and USB-3.1 Gen 2 certified (i.e., carrying the "SS10" symbol) meaning they have a certified bandwith of 10 Gb/s, therefore, making them quite future-proof for the next few years.

I have four of these. You can tell these are the boss simply by how thick the cables are (5 mm)

Come to think of it, many of monoprice's offerings are VERY reasonably priced.

I ordered one of them cheap bumper like cases from AliExpress, it came in a week late (dropped it already) but does it's job okay-ish.

I wanted to use it without the back cover plate (which I'm still not sure if it's more like a mirror or translucent) but it was mandatory to hold the KEY2 into place and not fall out of the bumper.

Hopefully I will come around a better case, but this will do for now. I will look around for some kind of wrapping which readds the grippyness because this backplate is really plasticy slippery.

You ordered the black one. But the bumper case is silver. Maybe you should have ordered the silver one instead?

No it turned out to be exactly the way I wanted it to be, I like my rear to be black although I want the logo to be silver. The silver border was also available with a silver backplate but this would've become like a mirror, while the effect is toned down now.

Not sure on what you'd like to know about the screen protector. I was eventually awaiting the KEY2 LE and bought the original KEY2 in a weak moment so I needed to buy whatever that reseller had available to assure my BlackBerry to be as save as possible =P. So I'm still in the market for a better fitting one, but as it seems to me the top brands don't have one available.

You helped me...I ordered these Anker accessories, except I got a single port car charger, and they are excellent. The cables are outstanding quality and the 6 foot length is well appreciated. Unlike the skimpy 3 foot cable that comes with the KEY2.

speaking on Quickcharge: I cannot get voltage higher than 7.5V, no matter which charger I use. Is it expected behavior? The same chargers happily charge Xiaomi on 12V.

SuperGuardz 3-Pack. It is the perfect size and shape. I wanted a clear protector that cover the whole screen without the black around the edged and Android keys. It was hard to put on cuz it was the exact size and the instructions didn't make much sense I'm glad it was a 3 pack. But about 2 hours after it was installed it's like there's not even a screen protector on.

That case looks great...similar to the clear Ringke from the KEYone. My worry with silicone cases are if the buttons are going to be easy to press. On the Ringke they were perfect.

No problem. And at $8, its worth the risk to see if the case fits how it should ;-) The main thing for me was if it fell face first is there any protection. In the details it points out the lip that protects it. Can't wait to see.
