Picked up a Tetded leather flip case (latch type) for my Key2 this week. Very well made, and it has a sleep magnet that works. Nice touch!

No, the key2 comes with " QC 3.0 fast charging " , I have been using ( Anker ) for last couple of years, same performnce as original but with even better matrial for bending and so on .

Note : Make sure that the adaptor or the car charger you are using is also QC3.0

For those of us who are slightly less tech savvy, does that mean I cannot plug the new cable into the old adaptor (that gets plugged into the wall) I used to charge my Classic? To get quickcharge 3.0 on your key2 :

Make sure of two things :

1- The adaptor/ car charger / portable charger should be QC3.0 ( below exmaples for each )

We need the OEM. Blackberry cases here in the states! Can't find them anywhere only over seas.

They are available from http://www.blueshop.ca/blackberry-oe...4A54A28508.htm in Quebec Canada. Mine arrived today after ordering a couple of days ago. I'm sending mine back for a refund (especially since it is $45 CAD) only because it doesn't work with the Spigen Pop ring I also have. The 3M adhesive used does not stick to the surface of the OEM case. It is a good quality case, certainly stiffer than the cheaper TopAce TPU case I had been using. They also added ridges to the power button like the original and it has all the appropriate openings for full access as I would expect. The OEM soft shell however makes the silver Key² look too much like the black version except for the Key board frets and chin. The BlackBerry logo on the back is also black but embossed so it can be felt but not easily seen except in certain light. The OEM soft shell also feels a little more slippery than the TPU case but that may be a subjective opinion

Two advantages to the cheaper TopAce soft shell is that the Spigen Pop ring which I am really getting to like adheres very well. The other advantage is that the TopAce clear soft shell also shows of the silver version better and even the diamond pattern of the rear cover is clearly visible.

Neither of the two soft shell cases allow the Key² to fit in the Dtek 60 holster BTW. I don't know about others.

Just installed and customized my BLACKBERRY OEM Leather FlipCase (from Blueshop.ca) ... It FEELS very rich and luxurious .... But this could be a bad thing .... I keep accidentally touching the camera lens as I'm feeling the leather's texture.

The side buttons are NOT "sealed" covered, they are cutouts with "tab flaps" that cover the buttons. (Power button is ridged to distinguish from other buttons).

The back BB logo is embossed into the leather, while front BB logo is a plastic?metal? disc that is adhered to the surface. The front BB logo has mystical powers, as others have reported as well.

Awaiting arrival of tempered glass screen protector. I've already been shorted $6 by Amazon.com ... NO product received, and refund shorted. Currently just using a custom Monoprice screen protector made with Cricut.

What is the trick to getting the phone out of the case? It's so stiff it's difficult to remove and I'm afraid I will bend or scratch the phone.

The amount of bulk added is very minimal...its as thin or thinner than most shells out there. And Tetded always uses real leather.

Typing is very comfortable. When you flip the cover back to type it doesn't slide around at all. The microfiber lining is grippy.

Personally I prefer this type of flip case because it is very thin (no additional card slots, exposes buttons and frame enough to protect but still appreciate the design) and most importantly the clasp keeps the lid closed in your pocket...no fear of key scratches etc. on the screen.

From a purely functional standpoint I still prefer the phone naked in a holster...but there are times one needs something a little more inconspicuous, such as when wearing a suit, a night out, etc.

I ordered my BlackBerry Key2 a couple of days ago (was waiting for the 128Gb version to be released in Europe), and of course I started looking at cases right away. I love pouches, as they allow me to use the device without any extra bulk while showing off the phone as it's meant to be shown off. So I thought I'd mention in this thread this lovely online store I stumbled upon: https://happerstudio.com/. (Nothing on Amazon was good enough and I cannot wait to see if BlackBerry decides to release (or not) a pouch for the Key2, as I need to protect my phone now!) Happer Studio is also on Etsy (in fact, it's their payment platform) and there are hundreds of positive reviews. I have literally just ordered one, and I am having it customized with my name on it. I read someone had theirs customized with some sort of Apple branding, so I guess the same could be done with BlackBerry... I asked if they could add a hole like on previous original BB pouches to show the red light, but it's not possible for technical reasons. The pouches are not cheap but look great and like they would pass the test of time.

Which one did you order for the KEY²? Doesn't seem like they make one specifically.
