I'm noticing battery life has shortened with this update. No apps showing as using too much of the power so I'm not sure what's going on.

If the 32 second reboot doesn't help, then try a factory reset. Fixed my issues.

    Good Afternoon all,
As per this thread.. the battery drain issue looks to be caused (at least on my Key2) by the last update..

Looks like carrier services is causing a lot of your battery drain. Try killing that app and clear it's cache. You could also just disable it.

If that doesnt work, try a factory reset - that worked for me.

Yes carrier services may be the culprit. I have read this on a couple of occasions. I keep my playstore of Auto updates and will only update apps after reading the reviews etc.

Yes I do the same. But there was no update in the past many weeks on the carrier services issue. Noone actually confirmed it can get resolved.
The amount of time it takes to set the phone to work as I need, I won't bother with factory reset. 32sec reboot is OK but why more hassle if it works just fine as is?
I just wish I could delete the notification of the risky update from above!

Well, my battery life has tanked again.

No idea what caused this. It is showing the exact same behavior as before - Getting about 5 hours and the Preview App is eating power somehow despite being ADB disabled.

Before the battery tanked again, it was charging only to 80%. This occurred 3 nights in a row as can be seen in the screen shot.

Then suddenly the Preview app came back to life and now the battery is lasting just 5 hours (although it now charges to 100%)

possible a conspiracy? force battery decline so that next update will make it looks like it has improve battery life (when in reality it just went back original)

I haven't restarted the device, and for some reason the Preview app appears to have stopped draining the battery (no longer appears in the battery list after a full charge) and the consumption has returned to normal.

No clue what's going on. I've been running this setup on my device for months and it wasn't until this OS that things started acting up.
